John Leech celebrates biggest fundraising dinner yet

Guests at John Leech MP's most recent dinner, held to celebrate his third anniversary as Liberal Democrat MP for Manchester Withington, packed out Longford's Restaurant at Longford Stadium in Chorlton on 4th July.

Guest of honour, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Vince Cable MP, spoke at length about the need to look at Housing Associations acquiring empty properties to ease the housing crisis, as well as the current economic climate.

Lord Lee of Trafford and Liberal Democrat MP for Cheadle, Mark Hunter, were also present, and helped launch the constituency's brand new 50:50 Club.

John Leech MP said, "I was delighted so many people enjoyed themselves this evening, some travelling a fair distance to celebrate with us.

"We were also incredibly fortunate to raise several thousand pounds for the constituency's activities for the future so I am very grateful to all who contributed and came along."
