September 7, 2010 3:41 PM

John Leech MP has recently made it into Total Politics Top 30 MP's Blog list and flew in as a new entry at number 10.

The Manchester Withington MP who started blogging in January 2010 (johnleechmp.wordpress.com) was the second highest Liberal Democrat MP placed just behind Lynne Featherstone who was sixth.

The list is the result of more than 2,200 people who voted in the Total Politics Annual Blog Poll during the second half of July.

John Leech MP commented, "I'm really pleased my blog has been recognised in this list, I find blogging is a really great way to communicate with my constituents."

If you are a resident of the Manchester, Withington constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
